C-Cure

Composite liner system for caisson integrity and life extension

Caissons are critical to the operational ability of offshore installations. They become increasingly vulnerable when exposed to harsh marine environments. Various forms of corrosion, fretting and environmental loads can lead to wall thinning, pitting, and structural anomalies.
If left unaddressed, these issues can escalate to through-wall defects and, ultimately, complete caisson failure, resulting in disruptive and costly replacement operations.

C-Cure is a composite liner that is bonded to the internal surface of the caisson to create a maintenance layer that halts corrosion, restores integrity and improves efficiency.

Once installed the maintenance layer will significantly extend the functioning life of the caisson on late life applications where infrastructure has a limited remaining working life. The system can also be installed on new assets as a preventative measure.

It can be installed over the full caisson length or as a targeted point repair, and functions equally well above and below the waterline due to its unique characteristics and installation method.

C-Cure offers operators a cost-effective, low-disruption alternative to full caisson replacement.

Once cured, the system immediately returns the caisson to service, restoring integrity and extending asset viability without the need for costly replacement or prolonged shutdowns.

C-Cure has been developed by a team of industry professionals with over 30 years experience in the pipe rehabilitation market on assets.
