This two-day course introduces the principles and equipment involved in gas testing operations and, through a combination of classroom and practical work, provides the information required to carry out gas testing on all activities including confined space entry (CSE).
The course is aimed at personnel preparing to work as Authorised Gas Testers and is required for those performing a test for oxygen, flammable and toxic gases up to and including working in confined spaces. Persons undertaking Safety Watch duties at the entrance to a confined space should also be trained to AGT level 1 standard.
