Rescue at Height

This is not strictly a 'standard' course in view of the fact that specific applications and equipment are used by individual clients and rescue courses are necessarily developed with each client accordingly. However, the format of each course is standardised and delegates are provided with the same fundamental approach to rescue techniques. Depending on client requirements the course duration is normally two days.Working at Height Rescue info sheet

Day One will focus on the elements presented in the Work at Height Awareness Course, as a foundation for rescue training (delegates will be required to complete a written test paper).
The focus of Day Two however will be on practical use of rescue equipment and the recovery of a casualty in a number of scenarios. Delegates will be required to consider rescue plans for specific tasks and use the rescue system to effectively raise and lower a casualty.

Target Audience

This course is generally delivered to client personnel who have responsibility for the rescue of 'at height' casualties.
