OPITO Approved Rigger Assessment

The emphasis of this course is on assessment of practical skills and competence. Delegates will be required to prepare lifting plans and to identify the risks and control measures required. Assessment will be in line with OPITO performance criteria laid down in the standard.

Target Audience

Rigging and lifting personnel who require to be assessed to the
OPITO Rigger Standard. The standard identifies the basic competencies and safety training required by the UK Offshore Oil & Gas Industry for personnel involved in rigging and lifting operations.
