September 4, 2009
AquaTerra Solutions' director, James Grosset, will be among the line-up of speakers sharing their experiences of industrial rope access solutions at this year's International Technical Event and Conference (ITEC) held by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA).
ITEC 09 Event and Conference will take place from the 7-9th September 2009 at the Fire Services College Moreton in Marsh. The fireground facilities will enable IRATA to mount technical displays of new equipment during the event.
Specialist access services provider, AquaTerra, has built a reputation as a leading global provider of work-at-height and complex access solutions. The 1 day conference will see James Grosset deliver a joint presentation on major offshore works using rope access along with Shell's HSE Advisor, Paul Saunders.
Commenting, James Grosset says: "We're delighted to be presenting at ITEC once again. Following up on our presentation at ITEC 2007, we hope to give a vivid description of some of our recent projects that have been tackled offshore using rope access. The work carried out within the leg of the Brent Delta Platform in the North Sea is a fantastic example of the technical uses of this application"
Roderick Dymott, CEO of IRATA International, said: "This annual event is chiefly aimed at our members and invited guests and promises to provide valuable insight into the development of technology, skills and expertise honed in the rope access industry.
As a sold-out event, we're delighted with the enthusiasm it receives year on year. Speakers at the Conference will include visitors from South East Asia, the Middle East and Europe and delegates will benefit from opportunities to meet and network with IRATA members from around the world."
