AquaTerra Reaches Finals for Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards

The finalists for the Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards 2010 have been revealed.

The 'Oil Oscars' are to be presented at the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre on Thursday, March 25.

Now in their 25th year, the awards organised by Scottish Enterprise showcase and recognise excellence, innovation and achievement.

 

Adrian Gillespie, director of energy and low carbon technologies at Scottish Enterprise, said: "This year, once again, we have been very impressed with the standards of entries and the continued commitment and enthusiasm of Scotland's oil and gas companies.

 

"The energy industry continues to be one of Scotland's most dynamic sectors and the wealth of companies and organisations, many world leaders in their fields, continue to deliver the excellence and expertise needed to help maximise our oil and gas resources.

 

"From this solid base, Scotland also has the opportunity to capture the vast opportunities emerging in other energy sectors."
